Dries Bonte
Prof. Dr. Dries Bonte is representative for TEREC. He is specialized in:
- Spatial ecology and evolution;
- Using quantitative and computational approaches to understand fluxes of individuals across habitat and ecosystem boundaries;
- The role of vegetation development for coastal dune development, its self-organizing properties and the services provided to humans.
Prof. Dr. Bonte is co-author of the coastal ecosystem vision, member of steering groups on coastal defence and leader of the scientific tasks on dune health within the Interreg 2-Seas project ENDURE.
